The table below provides an overview of the data we have collected in ELSA in waves 1-11.

At each wave of ELSA, interviewers have asked respondents to complete a core self-completion questionnaire covering questions such as wellbeing, relationships, alcohol consumption.
 

A health visit has also been carried out in waves 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 11. Various physical examination and performance data have been obtained from the health visits, along with biological samples collected for analysis as detailed in the table.
